    Posted: 09 September 2009 at 11:01am
Am moving down to Tauranga in a couple of months and I would like to organise a GP so that I am all enrolled when I get there.

Does anyone live in Tauranga who can recommend a GP, especially one who is good with babies/kids?

Which part of Tauranga are you moving too?  I don't know any GP's in Tga, but I'm in the Mount so if you wanted a GP this way then I could recommend you a few.
My babies:

R (9),G (7), J (5)

Will be staying in matua for a while then probably look for a place around Otuomoetai/Brookfield area. Don't know how far that would be to the Mount? I live inAuckland currently so anywhere will probably seem close!

I use Dr Ruth Cameron at Bethlehem Doctors, not sure how much she knows about babies - time will tell.., but she was great when I was having cycle/infertility problems.

I use Miranda Churchill, who is also at Bethlehem Doctors. We were with Ruth Cameron and she was really good with my DD, now 7 months, but when she was away training for a few weeks we started seeing Miranda and will be staying with her. She is absolutely brilliant and very, very thorough with babies, and has two little boys herself which I think makes a difference. I highly recommend her!   Ruth Cameron is still my GP as I'm more than happy with her for any problems I have.

Sounds like you've been given great recommendations already, but my GP is at CentralMed in Tauranga (in the city, but I live in the area you're looking at moving to, only a 5 min drive). She used to be an OB and has three kids of her own. She's lovely
PM me if you'd like her details.
