I think I am nuts but decided to do this anyways...
I started a diet yesterday - decided to go lesser route and do celebrity slim (rather than the diet pills etc) - so officially on diet as of yest morning...
then yest morning I also started a 10 day detox....
I think I am nuts...and have now not had a coffee for 2 days!!! TWO!!!!
heres hoping a clean out works its magic on me....

Two days without caffeine would drive me nuts.
You're braver than me, good luck.
With all the sacrifice your making hope it works.

celebrity slim is one of those shakes diets...quite scrummy - cafe latte (no caffeine!), vanilla, caramel and then yucky strawberry and banana ones (i dont like them but they were in the box)
am doing the 10 day blackmores detox - and hate the bitters...and the colon cleanse...ugh! oh well i need to get healthy!

I have given up V and people think I am nuts, so far 5 days and only had 1 person tell me to go get a bottle (he was being a smart arse thou). Think I am doing good so far so it is possible. I am allowing myself to have V when I drive to Palmy or Auckland.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

DH has given up V - he said it was one of the hardest things he's had to give up.
Good on you with the detox AND the diet. Hope the caffiene withdrawals aren't too bad.

Oooh, Celebrity Slim - I did this for about three weeks prior to my wedding last year. Was awesome, only wanted to lose a couple of kilos and it worked perfectly. Me not so skinny now ....

Ohh good luck!! I've been going to start a healthy diet every day for the last couple of months... still haven't got around to it!!
My mum lives off V. Seriously she drinks NOTHING except V. No water, no coffee, nothing else! The whole top shelf of her fridge is just V.... she will never give up. Her liver might though.........

my MIL gave me her left over ones she did not like it, so had a couple of the soups & shakes, found them too sweet. I am doing slim shakes, the one in the container so works out cheaper than some others.
You should come & join us in the weight loss thread we have a xmas challenge going.
I also gave up V, save a fortune, lol.
