I've weaned Brenna down to 2 b/f each day (morning and night). If I wean her down to one will I still produce milk??
My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

heck yeah, by the time paris weaned herself, she was down to one feed, from one side only once a day.. (at 6 mths..) then decided she'd like a bottle for that one too thank you very much

everyone seems to be saying yes, when I was feeding Ethan only one or two feeds a day I never seemed to have enough milk, thats only my experience though, maybe not the norm.

you should be fine i have been producig milk since 2001 when i had my first and never dried up the 3 years between my next one now third one on the way i sill have milk. when you drop feeds your boobs go soft and may seem like thay have nothing in them but it is just how good your body gets at making milk.

I seem to time weaning and falling pg again coincidentally LOL but at least I still dry up during the pg. But yea, when I'm down to just a couple of feeds a day I go down to pre-baby size.

I had the same problem as thunderwolves -- when Em was down to one or two feeds a day I seemed to dry up. In hindsight, I think I would have expressed to keep my supply up, and frozen whatever I expressed for when she was totally weaned off the boob... Maybe that would have kept my supply up.
