I know a couple of people haven't recieved the best service from the lately so I just wanted to say that they DO get it right sometimes!

We had to go yesterday to rehydrate Miss C and we were seen by the triage nurse within 10 mins, then the next Dr (an intern) within half an hour, then the senior Paed straight after.

I was expecting to get sent away because lil' Miss faker was running around the waiting room (and turfing all the big kids out of the ride on cars! ) like there was nothing wrong with her!

We were there for 5 hours all up and were looked after so well!

its funny how they do that aye, as soon as you get to the doctors they are fine and the doc goes well he/she looks happy enough so there cant be anything major wrong when you have been up all night with them cleaning up vomit!!!!

Anyway great you were all looked after and hope she gets better soon

...and we liked Starship so much that we thought we would go back there again this afternoon after numerous power chucks

They were equally as nice and the nurse remembered Caitlin and how she can "wiggle" and do the actions to the fruit salad song, so she went and got her a tv & dvd player with FOUR Wiggles dvds. Lovely gesture, but if I EVER see those 4 men again (or their friends) it will be a day too soon! lol

Got discharged with 3 large bottles of pediatlyte and a lemonade ice block for Mummy

LOL bet the iceblock was meant to be for her tho...Ella got one and daddy ate hers!!! I mean 7 months old and a whole popsicle - I dont think so!!

I hope Miss caitlin is doing ok now....

the ER dept are awesome...its the wards that suck!
