For the last month I've been "breaking out" something terrible. I attributed it to the onset of my first period after coming off the BCP but it never cleared up. I have little pimple things all over my scalp, which is rather itchy (and annoying!) and quite a lot over my forehead which are almost sore with the pressure under them. There are a few more on the rest of my face, neck and upper torso.

They aren't very big but they look like pimples. Are they? And what might be causing them because I'm on a particularly healthy (and gluten-free) diet so I just don't know what has caused them all of a sudden. Last time I was this bad would have been as a teen.

Any ideas? And anything to relieve scalp ones (I shampoo daily).

It could be acne as I got wicked acne after coming off the BCP. Really bad on my forehead also. It had something to do with hormones and the pill...I also have PCOS which causes acne so not sure if it would be the same for the average joe blog but am guessing. I went on a low GI diet and that controlled the acne (and other side effects of PSOC) really well.

I found the avon clearskin products to be the best product fro me and also cheap.

Could it be your bodies way of getting used to your new diet??

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
