Ok so, I have always preferred reasonably older men, but I know my "gap" isn't actually that big. Also, I realise that for guys, the age that they actually 'make' their babies doesn't matter *as* much as it does for women. But I sometimes wonder if there are particular differences in relationships where the gap is wider than "normal" (although I don't believe in that word, not sure what else to use). What have you ladies experienced?

I am 26 and hubby is 33. He is more keen to start a family sooner than I was, I figured I had ages to worry about that sort of thing, and 1 before I was 30 would be fine
I am 22 and my partner is 38. This works really well for us because I am an old nana mostly interested in wearing pyjamas, watching movies and being a total homebody (I am actually allergic to alcohol - no kidding). I have always been in a hurry to do everything it seems, left school very early, graduated early, etc and it seems normal to me to want kids now ish.
He was a total maniac when he was my age and took lots of drugs and had general troubles with reality and all the rest of it. He was suicidal when his girlfriend fell pregnant but he now has 2 daughters from that previous relationship and being a father has been really good for him, he has settled down and we are definately very like minded now.
Consequently he's uber keen to impregnate me (yes he does actually use that phrase, it's very disconcerting). I am just waiting until we get back from an overseas trip later this year and we'll be getting down to business. So to speak.
Some of my friends were truly shocked when we got together because of the age gap, and I have to admit, if I had been in their shoes I would have been pretty judgemental. So I guess it was just fate...or Murphy's Law...that it had to happen to ME.
