Happy 1st Anniversary

To my dear OhBaby!

I can't believe it's been a year since we got together. What an amazing 12 months it's been.
On our first night together you introduced me to the 2WW. But it wasn't for me, because 6 days later I got my BFP!

You then took me to meet some wonderful people, the Jan 08 Mummies-to-be! For that, I am eternally grateful as they are such kind, caring and sweet ladies. Without them I would've gone mad through the ensuing 8 months!

You saw me through my MS, lovingly holding my hair out of my face as I typed about it on the message boards. You supported me through the first scary 8 weeks before my nuchal scan. You shared my surprise and delight when I got those first flutters, which then turned into kicks. You sympathised when those kicks were in the ribs/cervix and you saw me through numerous nightly vigils to relieve myself while my darling baby danced the night away on my bladder!

While I watched, as one by one, my lovely new friends had their babies, you sat patiently with me until it was my turn.
On January 26th, when my beautiful DD Hannah entered this world, you were in my thoughts. I couldn't wait to get home from the hospital to show you what I'd done!! You were very kind to let me show you photo after photo of my precious wee bundle and listen to me prattle on about her non-stop.

You helped me through sleepless nights, sleepless days, first smiles, first (and second) immunisations, first rolls, first giggles and approximately 585 nappy changes.

Even though you have a lot of other women (and even a couple of men, you saucy thing, you!), on the side, you somehow manage to find the time for me, day or night. I still love you and will continue to love you as my lovely girl grows up and her sibling(s)-to-be follow.

Thank you for all the other wonderful people you've introduced me to and allowed me to share the good, and not so good, times with.
Thank you for the never ending compassion, laughter, joy and support you've given me, and so many others.
