put Fays leather shoes through the washing machine
Don't ask me how. Just having a really bad week
Question is, will they survive?
Also how do you get the pink dye out of hubby's work shirt?

I'd say stuff the shoes with newspaper in the correct shape white they dry. Something my mum told me as her dad was a cobbler.
As for the shirt there is a product called Runaway you can buy at the supermarket which might work.

LOL Claire, doesnt sound like your having much fun with the washing at the moment. I second the napisan soak and what a great idea about the newspaper in the shoes

You could always try Runaway, Mum swears by it (she makes a habit of dyeing Dad's shirts ) but for what it's worth, the shoes will live! I put one of Sienna's bobux thru the wash the other day and then put it in the heater cupboard and it's none the worse for wear.

The shoes have been onthe airer all day and they look like they will survive, I guess they get a daily dose of baby slobber every day so a good wash shouldn't hurt
The shirt is another story
