What can you give a 13month old for a cheasty cough? Neosha was up last night coughing and coughing and I have it too now. Its very much a cheasty cough. What can you give a little one for that? I was going to go into the chemist but thought I will ask other mummies first

My pharmacy down the road doesn't like to give cough mixtures to kids as he believes that it starts in the sinus, so if you can dry all that up, then the cough should go too.

Ash has got a cough at the moment too. Claire - was Fay unhappy when she had her chest infection? I would hate for Ashlee to have a chest infection and me not know about it

Vicks on the feet with socks on at bedtime helps too. Don't know why!

Will try the vicks. I spoke to the nurse who said to take her in tomorow if she is no better. She doesn't have a temperature or anything.

I hope we alll get some sleep tonight

I looked at the baby vicks but got recommended the Txylix (sp?) chest rub.
It is really nice - smells yum and really seemed to help Sam.
I put some on her chest as well as some in a bowl of boiling water beside her cot. It seems to have helped her sleep which is all you can really do at this age.
