Just wondering if any of you kids have had this injury?Caleb fell of a pony and unfortunatly his elbow hit a big thick plank of wood when he landed.Broke his elbow. This was nov 07.Had it in cast 4wks as it was not completely displaced. It has now been almost 7mths and he still hasnt got full use of that arm.(can only bring it hand halfway up to touch collarbone of same arm).In other words his elbow is now deformed. He is having an xray tomorrow and then back to dr next week to be sent on to specialist.possible or probible surgery to try and fix it.Has anyone been through this?Im soo worried bout him going under GA and will it work etc.It doesnt cause him any pain at mo.I feel so guity that he fell of the pony and that I didnt make him be really ultra careful while cast on etc.Any info or advice would be sooooooooooooooooo appreciated.

Hi Roxy, sorry I've never heard of it...I'm sure he'll be fine though.

My brother broke his elbow and it took about 9 months to get full range of movement back and they just left it to heal itself. and it is fine now.
