I don’t understand this ... (re Trademe)

I've sold some things over the last few weeks, one of which was a skirt. It's a great skirt in almost new condition by a well known, good quality designer.

The weird thing is that someone bought it, paid for it immediately, but has entered into no communication with me and despite 2 emails from me and a reminder in feedback I placed for her, she hasn't provided me with an address to send the skirt to!

It wasn't like it was $5 or something - she paid me $29.50 (incl P&P). I don't really want to refund the money as I wanted to sell it, she bought it, and others who wanted it missed out because she bought it. But, I now have a skirt that someone else owns, and I don't know what to do!

I've emailed Trademe to ask for their advice, but since the person isn't address verified, I'm guessing there's not much they'll be able to do. Argh! Bizzare.

I wonder if their internet connection has failed, or they only go online at work or something? I'd send a reminder email saying that you'll have no choice but to relist if you have no address from her within 7 days.

Have her emails been going to your junk box or something? Or getting bounced?

If she's already paid for it then I'd wait a bit longer... it's not like you haven't heard from her at all.

Email again I say.

She'll contact you some people are so slow !!!

There probably is a good reason why she hasnt been in touch, I would wait a little bit longer
