I need to get a present for a friend of mine and I'm sooo stumped so I'm hoping someone can help me with some ideas..

Reason I'm getting him an xmas pressy this year is that we are having xmas with him and his family at their bach and are getting basically free accomodation so I feel I should get him and his parents something..

I want to get something seperate for him though.. what can I get a 25 yr old army guy without spending more than about $20?

What's something little and nice I can get his parents for letting us come and stay over xmas/new years - again less than $20?

For his parents, what about by a nice platter/plate and bake some biscuits, brownies, slice etc and arrange it really nice, that way they will have a new plate/platter and some great home made baking!

For the parents how about some nice smashing glass coasters or a cheese board and knife (both can be found at any gifty type stores).  For your friend a hipflask of his favourite drink, a t-shirt, a beer mug, some sort of gadget.

He already has all the drinking related crap so I don't really want to give him more of it lol.. army boys love to party lol

Yeah he does like cds and dvds but he's one that gets everything he wants in that area as soon as it's out and I could do a voucher but that's not nearly as personal.

I like the platter idea Kandice!
