Yup Sam does this alot too. I think you will find that Briahna is probably coming into the age where everything of interest goes in the mouth - even bits of herself

Yup, Bella LOVES her hands, quite often she'll try and stick both of them in at the same time, but I'm sick of people saying to me "oh is she hungry" right after I've fed her...NOOOOOOOOO she is just a very 'sucky' baby, loves her dummy, loves her fingers/hands/thumbs, whatever she can jam in there!!

Madison has always sucked on her hands, i think it is a self soothing thing as she seems to do it more when she is tired.

Cath does this as well, it's a soothing thing for her. When she can't get a blanket in her mouth, the hands go in there.

Yeah Spencer has pretty much constantly got his hands in his mouth he even tries to put them in there when feeding. He also shoves his bib, blanket, toy or anything else he can get hold off in there too. He actually makes himself gag sometimes the silly boy

Daniel does it constantly. He's teething on and off but its also just their way of exploring.

At her age her tongue has more sensation in it than her fingertips so it's probably the start of an exploring phase (which lasts for ages)

I used to get sooooo sick of people telling me Han had her hands in her mouth like that cos she was either hungry or teething. Nobody seemed to understand it was just cos she could and the start of the everything in the mouth phase!

Jett's exactly like that at the moment. I think it's the comfort of sucking. As soon as my boob leaves his mouth, his hands go in. I'm thinking of introducing a dummy as he will go to sleep while feeding, but as soon as I put him down he'll wake with his hands in his mouth.

Yep as others have said it's their way of exploring, they get the taste, and texture of things that way, it's also just well, cos they can, they have learnt that they can purposefully bring their hands inwards to the center to reach their mouth - one of the first things they learn to do.. and what a great reward.. they get something to suck on if they learn to hold their hands there long enough.
