Rhiannon has gone completely off her forumla....just refuses to drink it...either in a bottle or sippy cup...has practically gone off anything that contains milk in it...including cheese and yoghurt...

she is still eating well...and drinking lots of water...have stopped giving her whole milk for breakfast as she seemed to throw up 10mins later...

she has 4 top teeth all pushing through at once and has had really sh*tty nappies for the past 2 wks....but other than that is happy and sleeping well...so i dont know whether to take her to the doctor or not and i dont know what to do about the milk thing

Does your plunket do a weekly drop in clinic? Or maybe you could call your nurse and see what she says. Maybe her or the Dr could give you some good alternatives or let you know how much of a problem it is.

Sorry can't be of much help!

How long has she been off her milk/formula for? If it's been more than a week I would say chat to your doc/WCP but if it's only been a couple of days just wait and see what happens. Babies are funny creatures, they change their minds as often as they change their nappies! With Maya I would find she'd have a few days where she'd eat absolutely nothing and then she'd eat everything in sight for the next few days.

Also, as Rhiannon increases her solids her milk needs will decrease. I'd stay clear of whole milk till after 12 mths tho - formula is better on cereal etc. before 12 mths as it's easier on the digestive system.

I would attribute it to teething and see what happens once they settle down, or if they take ages and she's still off milk, just check with the "professionals" at that point.
