How did these start for you children and where did they get the first spots???

Josh has some suspicious looking spots on his bum and legs. He is grizzly and has had a temp and dribbling something bad.

Took him to the dr yesterday as DC rang and he had a wicked temp but the dr couldn't find anything (apart from maybe losing his grommets already ).

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Jack hasn't had it yet but I was about 11yo I think when I got mine. They started on my chest, I think the trunk of the body is the first place they appear.

All 3 of mine have had them and they all started behind there ears, and then just made there way down there bodies.
They started out like little blisters then got bigger. My advice if he does have them is give him baking soda baths everyday and cover the spots in calamine lotion cause it helps the spots crust over and dry them up.

Alia had these horrifically over New years. It started visably to us with one on her back, then her eye, hand & then the next day they just started popping out everywhere. They look like little blisters.

But in speaking to an adult who also had them prior to Xmas he said they start in your hair. Which would be right as Alia was itching her head & we thought that she had nits. Also I noticed that she was grumpy & had really stinky breath for a week or so before the spots appearing.

I found using pinetarsol in tepid baths & also using Hypercal cream helped. She wasn't itchy at all & the cream was moisterising where as calamine drys everything out.
