Topic: its all about the accessories! Posted: 22 April 2008 at 9:06am |
charli is such a girl! she has an obsession with shoes and hats. i got her a pr of shoes yesterday and as soon as i showed her them, she had to put them on and wouldn't take them off....even had a tanty when it was bedtime because she didn't want them off!
then after going to bed, she screamed for an hr and half...after lots of cuddles, pamol, bottles....DH went in and she finally let us know the problem....'hat hat'....she wanted her woolley hat to take to bed!!!! after that, she was fine! when i checked her before going to bed myself, she was lying on her hat
silly silly silly sweet girl

Zaara has her moments were she will choose what she wears, what shoes she wants and bangles etc....And then other days she wants to run around naked!!!
Girls are funny like that!!
Doesnt help that us mummies buy all these girly things for them!!

PMSL. That is so funny.
Michaela's the same. She threw a tanty a couple of months ago as I tried her sparkly sandals on her but they didn't fit so I put her jellies on - she was so upset that I wouldn't let her where the sparkly ones!
She loves putting on hats, necklaces and bangles too (and tries to get into my makeup at every opportunity ).
I can't wait until she actually enjoys shopping with me - girls are the best!!

haha My friend's kiddo Leila is absolutely obsessed with shoes. I'm pretty sure it was her first word! hehe
Every time we head over there she has to try on each of our shoes. It is so cute!

LOL!! She's already figured out how the eftpos card works, the counter staff always think it's so cute to see my 2yo grab my eftpos card and swipe it through. Hmmm, maybe she should be an only child, I forsee her as being an expensive one!

a friend of mine taught her daughter to say 'charge it daddy' from an early age
charli had another tanty this afternoon because she wanted her new bright pink sneakers on (too small!) and not the light pink ones (right fit). i had to take the bright ones off because she has a blister and they are tight...'sore awww' she was saying, but pain didn't matter, she needed the small ones on! lol
neeks...i'm still waiting for charli to grow some hair....i can't wait to buy clips and hairties

PMSL! I often have people comment on my shoes with an incredulous "I don't know how you can walk in those" to which I always respond "these shoes weren't made for walking (duh)". Looks like Charli has learnt that lesson nice and young too

P.s. when your girls get hair you'll probably wish they didn't. Don't get me wrong, I love Michaela's long hair but it's a PIA as we have to tie it and clip it every morning (which she doesn't appreciate - having to sit still first thing in the morning while mum or dad tug at her hair) otherwise it gets in her eyes or filled with food during the day (and it's worse when she has a cold ). Plus it needs to be washed regularly to keep it clean and tidy - another thing she hates having done.

I know what you mean MrsMojo! Zaara has long hair and every morning I have to tie it up, and not to be boring...in different manner. She is fine with it however washing her hair and then drying it is a completely diff story...I run around the house after her with an towel.
That day I told her "mumma is going to shave all your hair off if you dont come here now". Arrggg
