Chips? Ready to make type chips, and I know you can get 1kg frozen at the supermarket, but I'm just wondering if there is a cheaper/bulkier way to buy chips aside from being the owner of a fish n chip shop?

Mad Butcher does them as well in bulk lots.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Do you want them for something specific? Cause I make my own chip, peel and cut up spuds coat in vege oil and roast in oven until golden. Only takes 30 mins at 200

I tend to buy them in bulk when they are on special at Countdown, they have the Talleys 1kg bags 3 for $5 quite often.

Do you know anyone who has a Gilmores card? You would definitely be able to get them in bulk from there.

I'm with Fleury though - dead easy to make your own. I don't even bother to peel (more nutrients that way), so just cut and bung in a baking tray with some oil. Even nicer if you add some rock salt, rosemary and cloves of garlic.

You could try moore wilsons too.  They often have bulk frozen goods (check the ingrediants though - not all frozen chips are gluten free, I make my own oven chips like Fleury)

Seeings as Palmy doesn't have Gilmores (never heard of that place, but I am guessing it is like our Toops) or Moore Wilsons you can't really try those places but does your work have a Toops card, they may have them. Or do you know anyone with a Toops card???

Toops is the only other option in Palmy. Or what about the frozen foods factory out on Railway road?? They might have them they sell bulk frozen stuff cheap.
