I came home today to 6 big (and I mean big - one is forked and as long as my forearm) scratches in the benchtop and island top. DH had had his tools and the tempered glass (yes, very hard glass) rangehood on the unprotected benchtops while he installed.
And yes, they're noticeable, because someone came to visit tonight and the first thing she said was "Is that a SCRATCH?" when she looked at the new kitchen.
I think I have actually reached a point where I just cannot be arsed worrying about my stuff.
At least I'm broken in before adding kids to the mix!

Is this the lull before the storm and you're gonna go postal on his ar$e any moment now?!?
Boys, eh. Ours splashed black eyelash dye over our brand new flooring - he was playing with a ball inside and I'd told him over and over to quit it, especially while I was busy beautifying my sister's lashes. but nope - big black splash forever across the floor now.
Enjoy your shiney new kitchen! Well, the bits of it that are still shiney

Oh yeah - Holding back BS! I told him I need new shoes now to help me cope with the trauma
I hate to say, but I think I am just so used to him doing stuff like this I'm resigned to it! (the newly plastered walls remained ungouged for about a month)
I don't know if it's boys in general, or just my boy, but what can you do? I'm supposed to be remaining calm and relaxed pre-IVF too sooo ...
I'm sure this is why I'm such a clothes freak - it's my nice stuff that I can keep nice!
If he puts his dirty work boots on my new carpet though ... there will NOT be a calm ginger!!

Verrrrrry restrained. I'm worried about this building up and overflowing at a later date.
Silly boys!!!
I think they are missing a vital part in their brain.
The same part that prevents them from looking for things before they ask you where they are. Argh.

Meh. Just. He's lucky there are the boots to hold over his head!
WHICH by the way, I tried on today in my continuing efforts to resist them. Hehe. (Yes, yes, I know. I honestly didn't think they'd fit my cankles, but they DID!)
It was like putting heaven on my feet!
*Sigh*
And yet, my Visa continues unmolested at this stage

Holy crap, I'm impressed!
If it were my hubby I'd have gone out without a word and bought the new boots as revenge!
