Topic: Missing in action... part 2 Posted: 12 June 2007 at 1:49pm |
hey ladies just a quick note to let you all knowi haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Our house move was successful, and our new house in wonderful. Palmy ladies sorry i did not catch up with you all, my girls decided to christen our house by getting the chucky bug on sunday and monday nights.. so thought i would not bring them.. as i figured you didn't really want your kiddies to get it. lol. i couldn't even ring anyone cos our darn phone was out till the tuesday arvo as they had trouble transferring our phone number.. we have moved 3 other times with it with no trouble but this time they had to wait till they connected our broadband to transfer it across!
to top it all off, our computer has done the same darn thing it did last time we moved.. and has stopped working so is currently in the shop being fixed.. with us hoping heck that they can again save our pics etc.. which we joked about burning to disk before we moved.. but hello. did not think our computer would object to being moved again!! stupid stupid computer! I now have 3 weeks in which to complete portfolio, with no computer, on constant afternoons duty. today is day off and kids are sick with flu.. mum is looking after them for 2 hours while i use mikes uni computer log on to finish something i have due tomorrow!
ggrrr anyways talk about stress .... have had mroe than enough, only consolation is that in 3 weeks time, i will have finished the portfolio and i can relax.. for a few weeks maybe. lol.
anyways, missing you guys, going insane without my grouchy mummy outlet for bad days, and hope you are all doing well.
hopefully will be back in action in a week or so ..

That figures when you move everything goes wrong. We had the same problem with our phone when we moved last time as well. I'm glad you did stay away from us last week with your girls sick.

yeah there was no way i was bringing them. am sure it was partly cos they were a bit congested up.. but wasn't gonna risk it, was just annoyed that i couldn't ring anyone or do anything about it. hope you all had a good time though. Paris's asthma did a big flare up but hopefully is getting under control now.
