Does anyone have a good recepie?
Do you just use washing liquid, or is there something else that should be added?

TIA

It says on the bottle I was given by PORSE:
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp boiling water
9 tbsp liquid detergent
dissolve sugar in water, then add detergent. Store for 3 days before using.

I can remember when I was younger that we put glycerine in a mix to make the bubbles last longer.

You can use just washing liquid and water but if you want stronger bubbles glycerine is fantastic (you can buy it at the chemist) or you can also disolve sugar in boiling water and add the dishwashing liquid.  Leaving it overnight seems to help make better bubbles too.

At the daycare where I work we all argue about the right amount of each thing to add, its a bit of trial and era to be honest!  I normally do about 1/2 cup liquid 1.5-2 cups water and 1 tablespoon of glycerine or 2 of sugar.

have fun

my mum just used to put a teeny amount of water in with the good ol palmolive!! lol.

we buy the gazillion bubbles stuff in the huge packs for cheap from farmers.. (figures by the time we get the glycerine etc, might as well just buy it)

i know its a few weeks late but be aware that the glycerine/sugar is used to strengthen the bubles but if you live in an area with wasps and bees then don't use a recipe with sugar in it

Hey have to add something I was just made aware of.
Don't make a mix for a young bubs of just dishwashing liquid and water. It can irritate their skin, particularly lips, and make it bleed.
Sunlight dishwashing liquid was the culprit in the case I heard of.
