Can anyone recommend a good bottle for a newborn, with our new bubba I am planning giving a bottle a day, we tried avent with the last baby but he never took to them and he had bad wind, anyone suggest any other brands?

we used Avent and all of their colic reducing teats, Caitlin still suffered with colic though until she was sittng up
I know Jax uses the Tommy Tippey "back to nature" (I think that's what they're called?) and said they were great

We use the Tommee Tippee "Closer to Nature" ones and love it - Gina does not suffer from wind at all so they must be working. They also look really cute - have a look

We have always used the Avent bottles with the reducing teats and never had a problem. For Tyrell's day care he has the Winnie The Pooh bottles from Baby Factory, although the teats are as good as avent he will still drink form it.

We use Avent with the gremlins mainly coz that was all that Maya would take when I weaned her off the breast at 10 mths. I tried the Nuk anti-colic ones to see if they made a difference with Mercedes reflux but found the teats too slow and they got frustrated with sucking.
I like the look of the Tommee Tippee ones, they look like the closest thing to a 'nipple' I've seen, but I know Jax is having probs now Erin's older coz the fastest teat they do is a 6mth+ one that is apparently not fast enough and she has to poke bigger holes in it.

I used tommy tippy brand & budget cheap ones from warehouse Found they were good for interchanging teats, caps, lids.
Then i got teats as per necessary ie: anti-colic/wind teats. Fast/slow flow etc. I felt it all came down to the type of teat that was used, rather than the bottle.

I used Avent with Jake, he had colic and refulx, I found them great, but everyone is different, i guess. i bought one of those tommy tippee bottles for charly cos they looked very close to booby, but she wont take it and seems to prefer the avent as well, the few times she has had a go at a bottle.
