Saturday is DH and my 5th wedding anniversary.
We are on a major no-spend at the moment after an expensive last couple of months and used up our babysitting quota after spending New Years weekend away.
I really want to do something special to mark the occasion as 5 years is a bit of a milestone, but I'm having trouble coming up with ideas.
Help please! Any and all ideas appreciated

There's crappy movies on at the moment.
We have candle lit dinners nearly every night.

Make a nice dessert/supper and serve it after the kids have gone to bed - dress up as though you were out. It's the effort that counts
