the only solution we had is i go to bed first....since Ethan i can't get back to sleep when i get up to him so we take turns on the couch.. nothing stops his snoring except giving up smoking which he said he would do and he hasn't so pass as to how to fix it..kicking him just gets him angry:( !

There are various products on the market, some work some dont. And each person is different.
I have to fall asleep first, otherwise I am screwed. And if I do wake up from his snoring, I wake him up too and tell him to roll over/shut up. Usually works for a few mins while I go back to sleep.

Snoreze works ok. I find if rod sleeps anyway but on one side he snores alot, so I usually sleep in the spare room, which I hate, but I get sick of hitting/kicking etc so its just easier to give up as soon as he starts and get some sleep.

DH snores a little sometimes in the winter and it drives me bonkers so he's looked into how to combat it alot.
But it depends whats causing it to what will work. DH finds his nose gets a little clogged so he breathes out his mouth instead so hes been cleaning his nose with some nose sprayer thing from the chemist and it actually works.

mmm I am in this boat...BUT my DH snores no matter what angle....even on his stomach!
I brought him a throat spray...worked but gave him a sore throat.
Brought him some strips to put on his tonge just before bed, worked but expensive.
He stopped smoking for 3 months....worked a little.
When he is a bit heavier it is bad too.
He brought a plug thing from chemist which was fantastic but also expensive and only lasts 45days.
The chemist told us, stop everything an hour before bed, so no drink no smoke no food. It helps a little too.
Good luck, I am in desperate need of sleep and it aint happening any time soon

The chemist, its about $35, works well, though, although he can't have a drink of water after.

Dh got really bad for a while but hes better now. He always does worse if he has drunk or if he sleeps on his back. When he went through a bad patch he used those breathe right nasal strips (get them from the chemist) and they worked well.

I am the one who gets the kicks and nudges in our bed
Its from my asthma, so worse in the damp winter....
DH only snores when he is drunk.
Good luck, my dad's a massive snorer!!! You can hear him no matter what room you are in. It used to drive me bonkers.

I find a pillow works well....of course then you have to get a shovel and dig a large hole...but at least you'll have a peaceful nights sleep

LOl this cracks me up...He has been sleeping on the couch....but I am freezing and could do with the cheap heater...going to go source few things when I get chance to get to chemist...Do think it will come right with a bit of weight loss and SMOKING CESSATION!!!!!
I wish I was a deep sleeper!
Also was thinking all those nights before I banished him I had ear plugs in....realised would not have hear Blake if he had woken!!!
