Hi everyone, just wondering what sorts of stimulating activites you guys do with your wee ones. I'm trying to come up with a few things outside of what I normally do (singing, tummytime, books, playgym, 'talking', tickles) with Joshua and would love some advice. Anyone know when a good time to start him in his jolly jumper would be??

I want to take jake and Taine to mainly music. Must look them up here. Also, I just started going to Playcentre. Mainly for Jake but I think Taine will get a lot out of it when he's older. Also, really nice to meet other mums in the area. When jake was in Palmy we went to swimming lesson, which start at 3 months I think.
Also, find your local chapter of Parents as First Teachers., they have tons of neat activities to stimulate littlies.

The mainly music that we go to, heaps of mums take little babies (im wondering if its a coffee group or something as they all started around the same time). The wee babies seem to get alot out of it. They really love watching all the bigger kiddies run around too.

The only thing we have in Saudi is Mums and Tots (which is now closed for the summer ) and I've been taking Zac since he was a few weeks old. He loves it. He loves watching the kids running around and playing and they all come up and pat him on the head or give him kisses which is very cute.

There is a serious of books at my public library called Your Child At Play, it goes through a year at a time of the first 3? years and talks about their development etc. They have all sorts of great suggestions and advice. I get them out every 6 months or so just for refresh.

My son is 3 months and he LOVES his jolly jumper!!  It has been fantastic for his head control and is great exercise for him.  My older son loved it too!!  Give it a try with your son, he will soon let you know what he thinks lol
