lolol. ok stupid me.. i have a really sore throat after yesterday.
so i thought hhhm i have some custard in a carton i haven't opened yet.... i put it in a plate and in the microwave.. and heated it. stil cold, put it in again, then stupidly grabbed it out, quick as a flash...

it was WELL heated, scalding in fact, had gone very runny, spilled out the side of the bowl i was holding ran all over the palm of my hand and over every finger except thumb, and out between them and onto the back of my hand.

hand is red and puffy and sore, and now cold cos of the cold water....

stupid custard...ggr. (have forgiven it though cos it tastes so darn good now that it's cooled.. with ice-cream)

Oh dear! Hope your hand feels better soon, Janine!

oo I have a terrible time with the oven racks, lifting things out of the oven and burning my arms! Especially when I'm in my last stage of pregnancy and so very clumsy! |
