Topic: Sad yet lovely at the same time Posted: 15 January 2009 at 2:36pm |
this article, though its sad, gave me warm fuzzies.
No dont worry its not about a baby or toddler....you'll be ok to read it. Its one of those sad but in a meant to be nice way.

Awww that's so lovely.
In a slightly OT thing, my grandad and his best friend died within 2 weeks of each other (both unexpectantly) a few weeks ago. At Mr R's funeral, everyone was watching Grandad sitting by himself, thinking how sad it was he had lost his best friend. 2 weeks later they were reunited

I don't think my grandparents were married quite as long as this couple, but they too passed away within a few months of each other (in the same year at least), Grandpa was just shy of 89 and Nana was 84 I think.

Thats so sad.
After my grandad died, my granmother slowly got worse and worse until she died, I supose love does do strange things after all.
I hope my DH and I will be like that when we are that old.

Awww thats so sweet (and sad )
My great-grandfather died of a broken heart too. He lost his wife and was so heartbroken he would still talk to her as if she was still sitting in her armchair His petname for her was "Mum", and he'd sit there saying "Are you alright Mum?" He died not long after she passed.
It must be so heartbreaking after so many years together.

Taht is beautiful.
I have read that a certain percentage die within a year. If alive after that year, then they tend to live strongly for quite a few more years. Funny really.

Sad but sweet they lived a great life together while alive and are now together again. I had a few reading this. I wish we could all be so lucky in love.
