adding to my other post, any good kids dentists in wellington. cut a long story short - taine has horrendous tooth ache and a potential year long wait to have it fixed properly so am looking to go down to wellington to find a dentist who can either do it under general without a hospital, or who can just do the filling. he is a horrendsouly stubborn child, so am looking for some one who knows what they are doing with kids. any ideas?

also palmy people, if you can recommend anyone in palmy that i can try....

also, he won't eat and has poor iron levels so he HAS to...any nice-for-teeth food you can think of?

Depends if you want to pay or not??

Do not go to the dentist in Raroa near J'ville - the guy numbed the wrong side of my face then chipped my tooth and didn't fix it and he didn't drill all the decay away just put a filling on and my tooth fell apart!

I find the gentle dental centre in dixon st (sp?) wellington really good, bit pricey and not sure if they do the free dental thing or not but they're really good!

There is a dentist in Karori (can't remember name sorry) they do the free dental for kids under 18 so long as you don't get porcelain fillings.

Those are the only dentists I've been to sorry but hope it helps a little!

thanks. don't mind paying as the little guy is in so much pain and the waiting list is at least 6 months long. have been told with general it will be about $3K which makes me feel ill, but the screaming of my three year old makes me feel infinitely worse.
