my 2 year old has exma on her face i have been treating it with steriod cream it gets better but dosent go away and comes right back if we dont use it and i have heard it isnt good to use the steriod cream all the time so tried to keep it under control with an exma moisteriser(sp) but it dosent help. could it be caused by an allergy to some thing (we dont have any allergies in the family). so any idears on what could cause it or what could help would be great.
Yes it could be allergy related, we don't have an allergies but Spencer has an allergy to cows protein (I assumed because we didn't have allergies he wouldn't). His symptons were ezcema and constipation.
I would see the doc about getting an allergy test done.
Yep it could be, or it could just be an excema problem. Noone in my family had issues like that until my little sister was born and she still has it at 19.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
