last week i got sooooooooooo tired put that down to son waking during night all the time and it caught up with me and im usually tired before my period...well im still tired yes he is still waking but he been doing that for 3 yrs....and by tired i mean...scared to drive cause i drowze......
2 i had sharp stabbing pains near my ear so thought i was having infection...pains have gone down my kneck across chest....ear hasnt gotten anyworse and i have been putting drops in it.

thought i was getting cold but im sure if i was then something would have happend...last week i did start loosing voice but no saw throat or runny noise

for two days my teeth on one side are saw...if you have had braces its like that.......and only on one side.....which is major weird and sooo annoying

anyone have a clue...?i am thinking iron levels so should ask for a test...but the teeth thing that is a new one

That doesn't sound good. And Mamas need looking after!
Don't know who your GP is but at certain medical centres in Hamilton it's $16 a visit if you register there. E.g. Westend Medical Centre in Dinsdale.

Healthline would be your best bet for some free advice. Have you tried them?

Sounds like me last week but my voice was fine although I was getting a really sore eye on the same side. I thought I was just getting the flue at first as my whole body was achy.
I went to the Dr yesterday who said I have a sinus infection. Maybe yours is a ear infection?
I would go as I was put on some pretty stong antibiotics to get rid of it and nasal spray and some painkillers.
I hate spending money on going to the Dr too |

I thought of a sinus infection too. I got one after a really painful plane descent and it was sore! GO and get it checked out - yoiu might need to go on anti-bs and possibly even steroids to get it sorted.

I would go to the Dr, & get some tests done.
If you are too tired to drive then there is a problem. You may need more iron or it maybe an infection...your system could be run down....it could be a million things.

But the one thing I do know is...it is hard work looking after kids when you are not 100%...so spend a few $$ at the Dr even if it is just for piece of mind.

I'ld go see you're GP. Better to see them and get reassurance. The tiredness is a bit of a concern, especially with being a mum and the pressures that come with that.
The thing will healthline is while they are helpful, they have a flowchart to follow for things and if you dont fall into those things then they refer you to get checked out, or if you're still worried as otherwise it can fall back on them if something goes wrong..

Not sure about the tiredness but I got sharp stabbing pains near my ears and sore teeth when I had an infection in my wisdom teeth. Could be that?

Your sinuses run very closely to the nerves in your jaw, which is why you get sore teeth from a sinus infection....this is what I got told last time I had a sinus infection, and the teethache to go with it anyway!!

I get sore teeth and jaw when I grind my teeth at night, the pain can go down my neck and in my ear too. I would go to the Dr and get it checked as it could be so many different things!

The reason I asked is my son was like you when he had it last year, complained of pain and had a really bad cold, and kept falling asleep at work...

Ruling out infection, a stabbing/pricking pain sensation is usually associated with a muscular problem. There are sets of muscles that are somewhat interconnected from the head, neck & chest areas, which would explain what you have experienced starting from your ear. This could also explain the discomfort on your teeth (especially if its also on the same affected side) as the nerve (that is located near the ear & providing sensations to your jaw) is now affected. If I combine these with your lack of proper sleep, I suspect that the main culprit is the muscular tension due to improper body positioning when you try to get comfortable to doze off easily. Try placing some warm packs, gentle massage to the affected areas (try applying some Voltaren Gel to complement the massage) & take some TRUE pain relievers (by that I don't mean the miracle drug called Paracetamol) over the counter (eg. Nurofen) or by prescription (eg. Diclofenac/Voltaren tabs). If you want to have cheaper consultation fees, enrol in a PHO-accredited practice since they are Government-subsidised. Hope these help.
