Anyone else a fan of musicals on stage and on screen?? I know the words by heart of Les Mis and the Phantom (they are my top 2). But I love most of the music from them all. Only one i'm not all that keen on is Fiddler on the Roof. |

I absolutely love Phantom and Les Mes. The latest adaption of the movie Phantom was amazing, I love Emily Rossum's voice. I had always wanted to name my daughter Sabine from Les Mes. I have also read the big thick book... loved it.
I saw an amazing show at the Aotea Centre one year called Berlin... it featured Icehouse (remember them - Aussie Band) and the Sydney Dance Company, that was amazing.

ETA: Rob Guest was my grandparents neighbour, and we'd often hear him singing, this was before he went to London. He's an amazing Phantom.

Oo pick me, I love musicals too.
Fave is Les Mis (seen it twice.. once when I was a kid and once in London), I love Fiddler on the Roof too... DH and I saw it last year and it was great. Not such a big fan of Cats or Phantom, but that could also be cos I was a kid when I saw them so it's always different. I also love Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Oliver.
