    Posted: 25 January 2008 at 8:32am
I am just reading this morning paper for my area and a baby in Pukekohe escaped injury after his pram was hit by a bus!
The mum and baby were out for a walk when she heard some screeching and it was a truck and bus colliding, the bus then veared towards them and she didnt have much time to run, and the bus hit the pram pinning it between a metal pole and the bus. The baby was ok though! He just got a small bump to the head and knee.
The pram saved him, it was a Milano three-wheeler. there is a picture of it and its still in tact it didnt buckle or anything!
That poor lady and poor baby that would have been so scary!

Thats my biggest fear. Being hit while out walking. Something that you just couldn't control. Glad her and bubs are ok though.

OMG scary!! Glad to hear both mum & bubs are okay though

We do so much walking around our home and it's amazing how many cars you see running red lights, having nose to tails and being involved general tom foolery.. We can't even cross the road safely anymore.. People in cars have no respect for pedestrians
