I've just had my second acupuncture treatment and I wanted to let everyone know it's really not that bad! I'm the biggest sook going and I was fine! It honestly didn't hurt at all.

I'm going because when I dived out of bed to Caitlin over the easter break (was at the bach with the "out-laws") I popped a tendon (or something) in my right hip and ever since Caitlin was born I've had a REALLY sore left hip (they don't know if she caused the damage or agrevated what was already there so Chiro & Osteo said no ACC), anyways my lovely acupuncture lady is treating both under ACC as she says the right hip would have been weaker due to compensation for the left hip. So the visits only cost me $25 rather than $65

AND....
When we were chatting (whilst she was turning me into a pin cusion lol) I told her about my really painful/crampy ovulating pains since the CS (GP said was due to scar tissue), well she put in a couple more needles for that too, that was last Monday. I've just ovulated (last Friday) and I can honestly say there was a 90% improvement!

AND...
She's also helping to heal the numbness around my CS scar! It's a little different and tingly but hey it's working!

AND...
I told her about the rough night we had last night with Caitlin (teething) and that I had approx 3 hours sleep, she stuck another pin in my forehead to help me sleep tonight

My acupuncture lady is my new best friend

I have, I read about it somewhere and that the little grissley bit at the front of your ear (next to your jaw joint - or TMJ for those playing at home ) there is a point there that can reduce your appetite!

I don't think I'll ask her to do that one though, might be overstepping the ACC criteria

I had accupuncture done in my head when I was due with Tyrell....as well as my legs.
I had magnets placed in my ears the week I was due to help with the labour.....somehow don't think it helped.
