Hi,  I know there have been heaps of posts about maternity clothes so here is another.  I desperately need some summer clothes, tops, shorts etc and I am seriously struggling to find stuff.  There is NOTHING local so it has to be online.

I tried jks but didnt like the colours, fits etc.  I like a lot of egg stuff but have been really disappointed in the quality.  There is heaps on trademe but as I am having rotten luck finding things that fit me I dont want to risk buying something I cant return.

I like to have a bit of a sleeve as I am paranoid about my upper arms.  I am a size 16-18 across the bust and get smaller as you go down...very frustrating.  I am pale, so pale colours look awful.

I ended up in tears last night with DH trying to reassure me that I am not as big as I think I am but I am sure you girls understand how it feels.  I have people ask how far along I am and when I tell them they look shocked as I am bigger than some people at full term.

Its really getting me down so I need some help finding some online sites.  At this point I am prepared to pay if the quality is good and the style flattering.

Thanks

The womama stuff is gorgeous. I got a lot of nice stuff in the Pumpkin Patch sales as well which was much cheaper but not as durable.

In terms of tops I got a lot of stuff that wasn't actually classed as maternity clothes because there's (still) so much around that's in that swing top style, but you really would have to try them on so sorry that wasn't really helpful

ETA: and I was huge too... people were saying "oh, you must be about to pop soon, are you?" from when I was about 5 months.

I completely understand! I felt huge and blobby all through my pregnancy, and needed decent clothes to help me feel OK about my size!

A couple of sites I liked (though confess I never bought anything online) - Mobea, Mama2B (though there has been a thread on here about getting crediit not refunds if you exchange clothes), MamaLove, Belly Beautiful

I also liked PP. Egg - am with you. I found the quality was really poor when compared to the prices.

Good luck - I hope you find a few things that you love and feel good in!

Awwww Nikki! I know how you feel and you did see how enormous I was while carrying Zoe, and sweetie you aren't like that at all!

All the best with pregno clothes! I had an Egg basic long sleeved t-shirt that I could have sent down to you... sold on TM now.

SARA from Ezibuy has some good clothes too... they aren't preggo but have alot of room for a growing tum.

Don't use belly basics, I was bought a top of them and it has not worn well. I think she payed quite a reasonable price for it too.

I have another one from mummyssecret.com but not sure if they are an nz site. The top is lovely though and I wore it tons with Spencer and it still looks brand new. Is getting a fair amount of use this time too.
