I can't live without my flannels in autumn / winter. I'm just glad that DF thinks I look cute as a button in them.

I love the cold. I think it's because I'm a Ginger - we're made for crappy weather
And Bee?? Fingerless gloves!! It helps at least!

My friend was telling me it was 2 degrees at 6am yesterday here - I shudder to think what it was when poor old Willie had to get up for work at 4am
Still, I used it to my advantage - whinged to Mum that it's too cold for the girls and now they're forking out for a Grobag egg and sleepsacks for the gremlins, and flannelette sheets, a new mink blanket and a new feather duvet inner for Maya.
Gotta love grandparents

We are in central Auckland and it was 1.3 on our back deck yesterday morning. (DH got a weather station for Xmas, so its very accurate!!)
Scary cold for us Aucklanders! We are going down to Tongariro tomorrow night - DH is taking me to the Chateau for the night, lovely - cant wait to snuggle up in front of a roaring fire with a hot choccie (would prefer a nice port...but...)

it was minus 5 the other morning in tokoroa. we are in putaruru and its been soo cold at night but we are sleeping in the lounge as nearly all our stuff is at the new place stashed at the bosses and its so nice to go to sleep infront of the fire. its even nicer to lie in bed all snuggled up in the morning and watch the other worker here go to work at 6am all bundled up,then go back to sleep...
i prefer the cold to the heat. i get real bad headaches during summer, but during winter i am fine usually. and its easier for me to warm up then it is for me to cool down. and there are heaps of ways to keep wram
