Man I am kicking myself!
Ella woke up screaming today and told us she had fallen out of bed and hurt her head.
She seemed upset but ok and snuggled back into bed with DH.
Later on she didn't want her breakfast and wanted to lie on the couch, so I tucked her up and gave her pamol.
The pamol kicked in and she brightened up a bit. Had a good long play in the bath and ate some lunch. She'd been thirsty all day too.
We went out for a walk to the shops and as we were about to leave she seemed to crash again.
I gave her some more pamol when we got home and she went off to bed. I got her up half an hour ago and she is still dopey, thirsty and not hungry.
Here is the bit that has me kicking myself, I never thought to check her temperature. It is 39.3, an hour after pamol! Poor wee thing has been quietly burning away and dragged to the shops because I thought my hand on her forehead was accurate enough to tell. (obviously not!)
I am such an idiot.
Off to the after hours for us.

Probably too late to tell ya but Briona had a similar experience a couple of weeks back. Fever usually has nothing to do with falls so here's hoping that was a coincidence like for us.

Yeah I was about to say that the temperature probably has nothing to do with the fall, she might have a bug as well.. hope she's okay

Thanks everyone!
Dr found nothing obvious and diagnosed a virus, but she is a bit brighter today. Hopefully she is over the worst of it.
She told me again this morning when I went in that she'd bumped her head and it was sore, so I'm guessing that is her way of telling me she has a headache?
