Well, we've had an update. Thomas was 2yrs old and died of asphyxia (sp?) after choking on a piece of meat pattie. He has had breathing and swallowing problems since birth and the doctors said it was a miracle he had made it so far. The family feel it fitting that he died in church, a holy place filled with such love to help them through this tragic time. God lead them to our church with knowledge that this little boys time was near an end, and now as a church we can support them together.

The funeral will be held on wednesday at the Lighthouse Church.

Our prayers are with the family at this time.

That is so sad but praise God they are obviously surrounded by loving caring people. Thoughts and prayers are with them and with you as you make sense of what happened.

OMG, I knew this boy.  Not very well but my family are friends with his parents (they met through the child cancer foundation).  I was on the phone with dad this morning and he mentioned that he'd passed away and they're off to the funeral today.

God bless them all.
