Topic: What do you do Posted: 31 August 2007 at 2:26pm |
while your baby/kiddie/s are asleep?
Gina has been asleep for a good hour now and I'm meant to be working. Or cooking dinner. Or sleeping myself. Instead I'm on ohbaby catching up and starting new topics and browsing the net aimlessly
So what do you do?

I have moved our business office home so that I can work while baby is sleeping. I tend to get about 3 hours of work done at most per day, but that's enough to keep on top of things. Other than that I also check up on OhBaby and cook the dinner - that seems to fill the entire day!

OMG Lou how are you managing to get all that done with a 3 week old! I am impressed Hope you not getting too tired tho.
I am meant to get some housework done and odd jobs, or have a nana nap, but I also try to have an hour or so for myself (usually OB, but sometimes Oprah or reading book/mag).

I try and get as much of the housework for the day done during Ella's morning nap, so I can enjoy her avo nap more and grab some time to myself. If she has a nap at 1 I'll watch Dr. Phil (oh for shame!). I'll hop on here when she's asleep, 'cause there ain't no way I'm doing anything on the computer when she's up!

So far it's been catching up on washing!
I've also been going for a walk in the afternoons while Cooper is asleep in the buggy. I'm loving that!!!! Walking not waddling anymore!!!
Today I've done housework too, haven't got as far as dinner prep yet, but maybe after I've gotten off the net!

Bum around, check out ohbaby and some other stuff, do some washing in the mornings.
Today I've actually managed to do a ton of housework (even mopped the floors - that took motivation!) and my mum came over and did our lawns (really an excuse for her to see her grandchild lol)
Luckily I never do any dinner prep ever. Nothing we make ever really requires much in the way of preparing and today is takeaways so even easier!

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Work. And then work. And then work some more. And you can tell I'm frazzled with work atm coz my house is chaos.
