so i thought i would cook this giant eggplant i have and moussaka was my first choice. got some great ideas from you ladies but after doing a google search decided on a stuffed eggplant parmesan. However i had to cook dinner without water as hubby has turned it off to install the new pedestal basin in the bathroom. But the pipes were leaking so he had to do an emergency dash to bunnings to get something to fix the problem. well it better fix it. i left them to do the sink at about 12.30 today and still at 6.10pm i have no water...   

so anyway, dinner is in the oven but the kitchen looks worse than ever, hubby is in the bathroom, the water is off and the kids thank goodness arent grizzling, which must be a first for this time of the evening.

dinner was great - as expected the kids ate none of it - so i was naughty and gave them ice cream. the water is back on too - hubby was a good handy man and fixed it.
