Topic: Sorry gross topic - vomit... Posted: 17 April 2008 at 8:37pm |
After she had drunk half her bottle tonight, Ashleigh decided it would be a good idea to powerchuck all over the couch - and she had spaghetti bolognaise for dinner She threw up again once in bed sonot sure whats up with her Anyway our couch is that macro suede stuff - does anyone have any good tips to get the revolting vomit smell out?
Oh and our washing machine has been playing up a little lately but of course now it is filled with puke covered towels and sheets it has well and truely packed a sad, while filled with water Luckily we bought an extended warranty with it so hopefully whatever is wrong with it will be classed as warranty

You could try using the 'rug doctor odour remover'. It worked great on getting rid of the vomit smell in my car. Make sure you spot test the product first though.
Failing that, I recommend you both buy a leather lounge suite that can be wiped clean

We have the Rug Doctor upholstery cleaner which DH sprayed all over it before - it has a pretty strong smell but I'll go to the supermarket tomorrow if it doesn't work

Awww poor Ashleigh. I can say your machine should be covered. We took out a 5 year extra warrenty and last year ours did the same and they came and fixed it.
Hope you get the smell out soon.

Sounds familiar... Our washing machine died the other week, just when Seb decided dinner didn't agree with him and had mess coming out both ends! They really do pick their moments don't they?
