In the profile section you can upload an avatar and a signature - make sure you click the box that says "display signature on all posts" (or something along those lines.

The profile is in the section with 'Active Topics' etc on top right hand side of forum screen. (NOT the 'My Profile' in the 'OHbaby! store' bar! Confuses the best of us )
