Hi ya all...
Blake is still waking in the night (which I know is sort of okay at his age) he has got worse as he has got older tho as sometimes wakes twice.
Anyhow...My thing is ...he seems to wake..want to feed (have tried dummy - just goes nuts and pushes it away) .....then after about 2mins sucking starts to do HUGE farts..then seems to settle back down. I think the wind is whats waking him up but have no idea what to do to try prevent this?
Apparently if you lay bubs on his back, move his legs in a bicycle motion, then push his knees into his chest/tum it should help it come out.
A friend of mine had a really windy downstairs bub and this seemed to help!
Hope it helps with your buba

If it was really bad with Joey I would cook up fennel seeds in to tea and give him a bit, this definitely worked. You can get them at any health food shop.
We used gripe water for Tyrell when he was a little yonger as he was a shocker for holding it in. Other than that we did heaps of tummy time. But not sure how mobile your wee man is.
I've got a really windy boy too.
I found that when I started letting Benjy sleep on his tummy he let it all out and slept much better.
Not sure how confident you feel about doing that but maybe worth a try?
Mel...I think thats half the problem as he doesnt get any "apparently" during the day.....but having other "issues" getting him out of his safety sleep as he gets all stuck then gets so wound up - it takes forever to calm him down (usually a boob!)
Did you just put him on his tummy or let him roll around in the cot?
