I need some quick help please, I'm bidding on a sewing machine, (God knows what I'm going to do with it!) but it is missing an 'extra spool pin', and a 'bobbin cover'. Are these things important?

TIA!!!

The bobbin cover is important as it holds the bobbin in place. You can get replacement parts (depending on the machine) but sometimes these can be expensive. What type of machine and how old is it?

bobbin covers are easy to replace from a sewing shop...not sure about spool pins....

Ring a local shop and see if they might be able to help. Good luck!

Brother BM2600,
Thank you for your help! Checked the brother website (duh), and I think they are relatively cheap to replace, if I'm looking at the right things. Lol I'm an absolute beginner, can you tell

Yay we can be sewing buddies too! the extra spool pin is if you are sewing with two needles/double needle depending on your machine.
