I've been given free reign to buy nappies for a friend. Soooo much fun!!! lol
It's so cool. She wants to use prefolds and covers initially and I've been asked to hunt on trademe rather than buying new. Not because she wants a good deal either. She's ummm well off we shall say so it's not like she can't afford to use sposies it's that she doesn't want to and I think that is wicked! Spending someone elses money on nappies is quite enjoyable Which brand has the cutest covers?

Cool - buying nappies with someone elses money!! I have just got some Bummis Superbrite covers which are fantastic! They aren't super cute, but not plain either and becasue they have leg gussets they are really reliable. Have found them great with prefolds.

I agree, buy covers with gussets as they are fantastic for containing newborn poo! |

okies, I'll add a super brite to my list!
I've already scored a couple of cheap snazzipants fleece covers and she loves those.

The tots bots covers/wraps look really funky but way more expensive than all the others I've seen!

Oh my lord, how fun!!!!!!!!!! I've read good reviews on a UK cloth board about the Thirsties wraps. Also, if your friend is any way inclined to try wool I have a Lovelybums wool jersey cover which looks and feels devine! They aren't cheap but are on clearance at Tweedle at the moment and the medium snaps down really small (9lbs) so there should be plenty of wear in it.

I don't want to spend $30 of her money for a cover even if it is wool. The other covers I've picked up so far have only cost $10 on average

Fair enough, I was only pointing them out. Besides, you asked what was the cutest, not the cheapest      PUL will always be cheaper than wool, so I'm sure you'll find plenty of bargains for your friend.

Wool is cute if it's lots of colours. I think plain coloured wool is boring for kiddies *hides* lol

the snazzipants fleece covers aren't much good IMO. I've got one in small which A is still wearing - they are huge!

I'm finding the superbrites pretty good.
