I'd go and see a doctor too, esp if you are TTC coz it could be a sign of infection or something and the quicker you get it sorted the better your chances of successfully conceiving are.

Go to the doctor. If you're really reluctant to do that, ring Healthline. Like the others said, better safe than sorry

I had a simaler thing a year ago but my pains were really painful cramping, it was around 7 or 8 dpo, it turned out I had been pg from the previous month and what I thought was a normal period was an early m/c, when I had the tar like bleeding I saw the doc and found I had an infection and need antibiotics and a D&C.
I would see a doctor as soon as you can. I've had bleeding with ovulation and implanting but it was never thick like that.

 I hope everythings ok.

I had similar bleeding when I had a m/c in March. It turned to normal bleeding after about 24 hours. Didn't need a D&C as it was so early but it's best to get checked. It could just be an infection or a really heavy AF?

sorry i havent been on, its was Tara's 2nd b'day so i couldnt really miss it. ive been taking nurofen and the pain has eased and i think the blood is thinning. i had a scan doen a week and a half ago so if i was pg from an earlier month it would have been picked up. my sis thoght maybe ectopic but the pain has eased so i doubt it. if it still looking really dodge ill call my specialist first thing monday morning or if it gets really bad again ill go to after hours. i ended up hanging up on the lady at healthline cos she was a moron, everytime i mentioned provera or clomid she refered to the as contriceptives even after i explained they were fertility meds. even if things settle i mite still ring my spec as he may want me to go in for a scan or something.

this is a link to my chart too. may offer some insite but not sure. 2day's temp drop is really odd but its way to early for implantation so dunno wtf is going on
Edit 12:18am: blood has almost gone i am am left with the same really think (almost like ridiculously think EWCM) but with almost no colour bodies are strange things
