On my face that is. I've counted 26 spots this morning. And they just keep appearing. I'm sure it happened when I was pregnant with Ryan so it can't be a sweaty heat thing cause he was a winter baby.

I wash morning and night with Simple and I don't wear much / if any makeup and only if I'm going out of the house. They just keep popping up one after the other.

Is anyone else getting them badly as well? Or managing to prevent them.

I have been getting them too - I figure that since i had pretty good skin as a teenager, that my turn is now :-(
I have been experimenting with all sorts of pimple cream - from expensive beauty salon stuff, to simple hydrogen peroxide cream. Funnily enough, the thing I find helps the most is toothpaste - it dries them out and they heal really quickly with no scarring. I use a herbal toothpaste, but i probably wouldn't use one of the really chemically brands. I put it on at bedtime so noone apart from DH has to see me looking like spotty man - sexy!

I don't think is has anything to do with your skin routine, just preggy hormones up the whop.

I found that I broke out more this time with the boys. I got told girls need more hormones so the mother produces more if carrying a girl
 are you having a girl?

I have been breaking out constantly this pregnancy as well- not quite as bad now, as it was through at the start.  With Ella I never had any problems, so I figure it  is all the boy hormones which are making me break out . |

I acutally found the more products I used the worse it got. If I stuck to water and a very light moisturer (the ultra calming aveeno one) then my skin cleared up.. but I was getting really bad dermatitus with the acne and both cleared up when I didnt use and soap or soap substitute on my face.
My sister was covered head to toe when pg with her boy... nothing got rid of it... they were all had white heads of them too poor thing.. she looked like puberty gone terrible wrong.

They were all gone within weeks of giving birth and she didnt get it with her daughter.

I had a hideous breakout during the early weeks of pregnancy..... that's actually how I found out I was preg! Went to the Docs to get something for them they were that bad and she decided to do a preggy test lol sure enough... BFP! They calmed down a bit after that.... I spose it was the fact that I knew what had been causing them but I was still getting yucky whiteheads. I changed my skin care products to a sensitive Oil of Olay cleanser (and that is all I use now, no toners or anything) and my skin has cleared up 100%. Not a spot on me now which is like the first time in my life! So I'd agree with the fact that the less you use the better. |

I got pimples really badly (especially on my shoulders etc) with Daniel, but not really at all with Micah, so it couldnt have been different hormones with me!!! I SO agree with what you said Huntd, about pregnancy glow!!!

I read somewhere that when you get pregnant your bosy starts to produce more oil, so people with normal or dry skin usually end up 'glowing' and people who had oilier skin and hair to begin with have an increase in those problems.
I am getting it now too. It was really bad last time as well but I've always had difficult skin so it probably doesnt take much to push it over the edge. *sigh*
