My 16month daughter has a large SIO, but darned if I can get it to fit her correctly! Poop leaks around the leg (big poop, but still), and when it is done up, the 'wings' kind of hang down underneath, IYKWIM?
If I did it up any tighter I'm scared it would be to tight. Any tips or tricks?

You know what I mean by the wing issue!
I wasn't quite so sure how to explain that |

I also have the wing droop and leaking issue. It is the only nappy I have leaking issues with and I put it down to either the nappy is too narrow for her build or it just isn't absorbent enough.
I would try getting a couple of boosters to see if that helps with the leaking.

The trick to stop the wing droop is to do the nappy up as normal but then move the end snap back one, it will be slightly bunched up at the front but so far that hasn't interfered with the performance (my girl tummy sleeps and no leaks out the front).

   Ah brill thanks Louise.
I wonder if I'm doing them up to high/low around the waist, the bulk of Hollie's other nappies are OSFA pockets, so they are snug and highrise everywhere!

it could be too big for her. and yeah they are narrower in the crotch so that might be an issue too. Have you contacted the itti bitti people, they are very helpful.

Oh that is a clever idea to combat wing droop!
I'd say that they are too big for her. My skinny legged boy really should be in a small SIO. The AIO's fit better on skinny kids.

We have leakage after about 2 to 2 1/2 hours usually, mainly because its not absorbent enough and Cam's legs are still a bit too skinny for them.

I got poo leakage out the top of the front the other day! Not nice, I'm not sure how she managed to make it go that way as it was not where near going out the back! Might have to try a snap tighter I think...
