my friends all seem to have 5 point harnesses in there capsule, but is 5 necessary?
some of them only seem to have 3.

i know we want one with a base, so that may narrow it down a bit but does it really matter.

 thanks

personally, I think a really young baby would be more secure with a 5 point harness. They are so tiny, so unless you have an extra cushion type thing right down each side to hold them snugly in place, I could see them moving around a lot more with a 3 point harness should anything happen.

I'd definitely go 5-point harness...not worth the risk IMO.

cool thanks guys. will keep an eye out for some on special.
if none fall in our budget for buying new, seeing as we now need two, we will prob just hire them from Baby On The Move.

Wow, you learn something every day! I never knew what a 3 or 5 point harness looked liked. I assumed mine was only a 3 point cause it had 3 point that joined where the clip is. Turns out it's a 5 point cause there is 5 different anchor straps.
I'd definitely go with the 5 point one.
 Congrats on Twins |

I didnt really know much difference either until I noticed that one friend has a Phil and teds capsule that literally looks like a Y, and my other friends have graco something or a safety 1st one that also has 5 straps, like a pram does.
 thanks tho |

Indi - talk to your local multiple birth club as well. I'm not sure where you are, but my local one hires capsules to multiple mummies and it is waaaaay cheaper than anywhere else!!
