I have tried every which way I can think of to get these blardy things to work for Caitlin and STILL they shuffle around in the wrap and pinch her girly bits (to the point where she's pulling at them ).
I know everyone goes on about how much easier they are with a newborn and how cheap they are. But personally, I'm glad we've used pockets from day 1, I've never had so many issues with a nappy! |

Thats a bummer...I find them so cheap and great for when I'm at home, but then Bella doesn't really move around much yet . I also use a microfleece liner against her skin because I think it feels nicer than the actual prefold cotton...but yeah, they are a bit bulky!

I cant get them to work on Hannah either Toni! If I just pad fold it it bunches up in the middle and gets stuck, esp bad if I put a microfleece liner in there. And there is no way I can find a fold to fit around her to snappi up. so I gave up on them too. I can see how they would be good for littlies tho.

We only find them really good when Maddie has had a tummy bug and needs to be changed lots.
I'm wanting to use them for the NB stage next time though before moving into the pockets.

I use them on Benjy quite regularly when I run out of pockets. They work really well for us and he's never been bothered by them bunching or going places they shouldn't.
I use a cloth flat folded into a pad with a BKT or microfibre booster in the middle.
 Maybe its a girl thing?

ETA: Oops, Jack isn't a girl! Maybe Benjy just has a bum o' steel??

I tried the Peapods with the trifold and I must be folding it wrong as it leaks every time out the sides! I think I;m folding it wide enough but maybe it bunches while Ro is wearing it?
 I'll stick with the FB's and HC's I think!

I've been using prefolds on Anyssa since week 3 and they are great. She just slept from 9.40pm until 5.20am (first time - so exciting!)and they didn't leak.

I am looking at moving to pockets/ AIO when she is bigger though..
