Topic: palmerston north accomodation Posted: 16 July 2007 at 10:20am |
Hi just wondering if anyone knows of a reasonably priced Motel in palmerston north - thats not too budget. We are going to somewhere on featherston st so near there would be good.
Have looked up Aladin Motel as its flybuys - anyone know of it? IS it ok?

If you are going to be on Featherston St look at the sherwood its on Featherston Street. The meals are good there (my aunty is in the kitchen ).

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Depends on which end you want to be.
I have stayed at the Chancellor Motel they have a nice spa bath, and are in the middle.
If you want to be closer to town then the one opposite the Plaza - Cornwall Motor Lodge is good I used to book our Massey staff into there. For Massey/Hokowhitu end I have inspected Fitzherbert Regency and Awatea Park for my wedding guests and they are both lovely.
Price wize they are all around the $100-120.
Don't go to Shadzz - we had a cold bath..

I've only ever stayed at St Aubyn Court Motel on Ferguson St (central), it's 4 star and was very nice.

I've stayed at Aubyn Court and Illuzions. Aubyn Court was great - new, clean, comfortable rooms and friendly owner. I was based at Illuzions for a month (work) and it was good. The owners were really friendly.
