Nearly 3 years ago I lost my son Max at 23weeks then lost another bub at 6 weeks, 2 months before I fell pregnant with Lucy. I found out about a week ago that I was preg again and I can stop thinking about all the "what if's" What if Max was still here, what would he look like, what we be his favourite food ect, ect.
I don;t know if this is jsut a crazy preggy mum thought but I feel like there is no "safe" part of my pregnancy??? Im feel like Im being way over protected of Lucy because of it....I don't think I could go through lossing another child. I can't wait to have my scan and hear bubs is little heart beat (fingers crossed)

Sorry for the ramble, thanks for listening

Ah hun I don't know what to say. I think wondering about the what ifs is probably normal, but if you think you are worrying to an extreme perhaps have a chat with your midwife or gp.
Congratulations on the pregnancy and best wishes for the scan.

It's horrible isn't it, there's no safe part of pregnancy - nor after that either. But the first 12 weeks usually are the most vulnerable. With a m/c in your history (especially that late!) it makes you even more edgy. Do you know what went wrong with Max's pregnancy? That may help ease your mind if it can be ruled out this time.
 Big hugs!

i know when i was preggie with addison I thought heaps and heaps about the twins we had lost, especially since they all had close due dates.
Its hard but really there is no point worrying to much because its out of your hands anyway and stress will only make things worse. Just think you cant be that unlucky surely!
 Big hugs

i agree with busymum.. but everyone keeps telling me to relax..and for some that comes easier than others.i had a really hard time relaxing(and my loss was only at 12 weeks, I cant imagine how much harder at 23 weeks)It is perfectly normal to wonder about Max and what he would look like ...i do that with my baby when i see the August Mum's babies around:(
I still have some days where i worry ..i had early scans which helped but I really didn't relax till after the big scan and I also don't feel there is any 'safe' part of my pregnancy..so no you aren't crazy or alone..and there are others out there who feel the same as you..
